Active ingredient: BioCardine® Omega-3 – oil from the muscles of sardines, anchovies and mackerel with biological composition (food for special medical purposes) – a combination of full-value, non-enriched oils from the muscles of sardines, anchovies and mackerel (South Pacific Ocean). Additional ingredients: flavourings – natural lemon flavour, antioxidants – tocopherol mixture (E306). Capsule shell ingredients: gelling agent – gelatin; humectant – glycerol; water. Allergens The oil does not contain fish proteins responsible for fish allergies (parvalbumin). A trace amount of protein may come from the gelatin capsule shell. Do not use in case of allergy to any component of the product. Directions 4–12 capsules per day, or correspondingly 5–15 ml of oil per day. The product is intended for dietary management for adults and children with a body weight above 10 kg. Daily dose should be adjusted to body weight (according to BMI). Acute phase (e.g. depression, stroke, heart attack): 12 capsules/day (120 kcal) for up to 6 months. Chronic phase (heart disease, cardiovascular disease, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, schizophrenia, depression): 6 capsules/day (60 kcal) – indefinitely. Prophylaxis and support of brain, nervous system and heart function: 4 capsules/day (40 kcal) – indefinitely. To be used under medical supervision. Warnings Do not exceed the recommended daily serving. Do not use in case of allergy to any ingredient of the product. Do not use as the sole source of nutrition. Product is nutritionally incomplete. Use only as a dietary supplement alongside treatment. The product does not replace therapy prescribed by a physician. Not for parenteral use. Not intended for the general population.
